VILLA CHARLOT
Villa Charlot , located in Beausoleil near Monaco, is an iconic site recently renovated to become Village Charlot , a vibrant cultural and artistic space. Conceived as a place for creation, encounters, and experiences, it now hosts contemporary artists in an open and immersive environment.
It is within this context that Djiango's artistic and scenographic project takes shape. Djiango, a contemporary artist and architect by training, blends ecology, urban art, and the scenography of 1500m² of gardens. The project was carried out with the Heartist collective, including Faben, J-Besset, and Brian Caddy, for the city of Beausoleil.
A dialogue between art and architecture
At Villa Charlot, Djiango develops a sensitive approach where art engages directly with the architecture of the space. The artworks integrate into the environment, playing with light, volumes, and circulation patterns to reveal the building's soul rather than artificially transforming it. Each artistic intervention is conceived as an extension of the space.
An immersive artistic experience
More than a traditional exhibition, the project offers an immersive experience . Visitors journey through an artistic path where portraits, materials, and movements resonate with the site's history. Art becomes an accessible, emotional language, rooted in reality.
